Video-On-Demand, VOD-D

VOD-D, a standalone multimedia Board is a development platform designed to take customers into quick-to-market solution for Video-On-Demand system, Video Surveillances, Private Video Recorder (PVR), Video IP Phone, Video conference system.

VOD-D is powered by Equator MAP-CA Video Processor and it contains almost all the video and audio, Data/wireless network and sufficient multimedia signal processing powers for the above applications. Customers develop hardware, firmware and software application and contents onto VOD-D and modify it into their own end products.

With MAP-CA power at 30GOPS and at near 300MHz operating frequency, VOD-D is targeting at embedded solutions which OS such as VxWork and Linux will be simply ported or implemented. Multiple codecs such as MPEG4/2/1, WM9, H.263, D1, CIF/4CIF and low bit rate are easily performed by MAP-CA.
