Video Surveillance System, Standalone ( VSS-S )

VSS-S Standalone Multimedia Board is a development platform designed in small form factor for use in controlled environments such as in-vehicles surveillance, in-helicopter and ATM tellers where space have to be compromised. In many areas, VSS-S could also be used in the same application as VOD-D in set-top-box areas and yet with a better size which is only 30% of their form factors.

VSS-S is high performance and small platform which is also powered by Equator BSP-15 Video Processor with power of 40GOPS and at near 400MHz operating frequency. It consists of two main modules, CPU and AV. CPU module houses all the critical and high frequency components that are required by the BSP-15 and, AV modules contains all the video & audio Input/Output (I/O) connectors and interfaces for different end applications.

With this modular design, VSS-S provides easy swapping of either modules to cater for different applications which may need different speeds of CPU modules for different video & audio I/O requirement such as BNC connectors for secure connectivity, physically, in hard and difficult terrains.
